Tessie, Gloria, Mercy, Cora

or Tessie, came to Montreal in the late 1980s or 1990. I can’t remember exactly. She brought her whole family with her, bit by bit, as she could afford to. They are all in Montreal now and some have moved on and away.

Her birthday is March 2, 1949. Auntie Tessie married Danilo Del Mundo and they had five children. Salvador, Thelma, Orly, Demy, Celia, and Emmanuel. They all, save for Thelma, live a block away from my mom. Thelma lives in Seattle. Here is Auntie Tessie’s place.

Auntie Tessie, I believe, just volunteers at the church we all go to and teaches Sunday class to children.
